Celebrating the Life of Billy “Eazy” Stitt

Billy Stitt, affectionately known as “Eazy,” was born on June 15, 1968, in Denmark, Tennessee, to the late Barbara Robertson and Cornelius Stitt.

On June 21, 2026, Billy peacefully transitioned from earthly life to eternal rest.

Billy received his education from Nashville Training School. He was truly loved by many and will be remembered for his genuine spirit, strong work ethic, and the care he showed to those around him.

Billy, or “Eazy” as he was lovingly called, was a hardworking and dedicated, brother, uncle, friend, and mentor. His presence brought comfort, strength, and encouragement to his family and community. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara Robertson and Cornelius Stitt; his sister, Sylvia A. Bond; Cornelius Stitt Jr.; and Velez Robertson.

He leaves to cherish his memory his two sisters, Pamela Sturghill (Marcus) and Trinetta Stitt; his partner, Debb; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends, all of Jackson, Tennessee.

Billy’s love, laughter, wisdom, and strength will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever remain a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to know him.
